Short cv:

I am a marine biologist and coastal manager graduated at the São Paulo State University (UNESP, Coastal Campus) with a sandwich period at the University College Cork (UCC). I have been working with behavioural and physiological ecology of coastal organisms since my early years at the university. During my bachelors, I have worked with the bioturbation activity of benthic estuarine groups. Recently, during my masters’ degree at UNESP with a research period at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), I performed several studies exploring the effects of climate-related stressors on species’ potentially vulnerable stages, mainly embryos and larvae of ectotherms.

I am currently researching at the Laboratory of Ecology and Animal Behaviour (LABECOM), UNESP-IB/CLP. As a prospect PhD student, I am aiming to better understand marine dynamics and interactions in a changing climate and also deeply motivated to continue promoting ocean literacy.
